Head to the Hills officially launched the Utterly Buttermere Swim this week by taking the local press swimming in Windermere.
We wanted to give the journalists just a taste of open water swimming, its not Buttermere but it was wild.

An update on the Utterly Buttermere Swim Numbers
The 1500m is a great distance for those wanting to get a taste of open water swimming in these beautiful clear waters and we have 46 ready to dive in so far.
Proving the most popular distance is the 5k where 121 swimmers will swim a complete circuit around Buttermere
49 intrepid swimmers will be getting twice the enjoyment swimming the 10k. Thanks for your support guys and ladies :).
